One example of a pretend play activity is dressing up in costumes. A child can pretend to be Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman depending on the superhero that he or she looks up to. By pretending to be a hero who can save mankind from the evil plots of wicked people, a child can be trained to be good-hearted and helpful.

On a more realistic level, children can also pretend play that they are doctors, firemen, chefs and bakers. You can get medical toy kits, firemen kits and even restaurant and bakery kits. These will make their pretend play situations more realistic as they run around looking for patients
